I would like to see more people use this part of the forum. I may be the GL but i'm also always up for suggestions. Let me know if you notice anything you would like to see in the guild. Also let me or any of our officers know if you have any problems with anything/anybody. I think we are doing very well as an alliance but i cant see everything that goes on.

Okay, I hate to be the newbie who keeps coming up with ideas because I'm always afraid that people who have been around a long time will think they are dumb ideas, or they have already seen them fail, or whatever....so if this is a dumb idea, just tell me why but please be nice  I keep running into abbreviations that are Guild Wars specific, or that I think are GW specific, that I don't know and can't figure out. I am wondering if other people new to GW or returning after a long absence are also finding some of the abbreviations hard to follow. If there's already some kind of index of them, I'd like to know where it is--but if there isn't, we could make it a sort of long-term project, a list we keep adding to over time. People could start by posting what they know, and others could add abbreviations that they can't figure out, and then someone else will eventually fill in the meaning..... This may not seem like a big deal to some people, but when I look at a Guild announcement and have to ask myself "what's an SC?" and try to figure it out from the context (and fail)...I really wish there was somewhere I could look it up. The wiki isn't always helpful for that kind of thing. Anyway, that's just what I am thinking at the moment. *shrug* |
